Mock Data Generator

Create realistic fake test data entirely in your browser. Define your columns (names, emails, phones, numbers, dates, UUIDs, addresses and more), set ranges and constraints, choose a reproducible seed, and generate any number of rows. Export to JSON, CSV, SQL (INSERT statements) or Excel. Perfect for database seeding, API mocking and UI testing — all data is generated locally, nothing is uploaded.

How to use Mock Data Generator

Generate realistic fake test data for databases, APIs and UI testing. Define the columns you need, choose a seed for reproducibility, and export to JSON, CSV, SQL or Excel. Everything runs locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

Steps

  • 1. Add fields — click “+ Add field” and give each column a name and a type (name, email, phone, number, date, uuid, address, enum and more).
  • 2. Set constraints — each field expands its own options: ranges for numbers, length / prefix / suffix for strings, start & end for dates, allowed values for enums, and a unique flag when values must not repeat.
  • 3. Choose a seed — the same seed + the same fields always produce the identical data, so you can reproduce a dataset for tests or debugging.
  • 4. Generate — set the number of rows and click Generate; a preview table appears.
  • 5. Export — download the rows as a JSON array, CSV, SQL INSERT statements, or an Excel (.xlsx) file.

Field types

  • string / word / text — random characters or dictionary words; set min/max length, a prefix/suffix and an optional character set.
  • number / integer / float — set min, max and decimal places (float only).
  • date / datetime — pick a start and end date range.
  • email / phone / name / address / city / country / company / ip / url / color / currency — realistic random values from built-in dictionaries.
  • uuid / boolean / id — UUID v4, true/false, and an auto-incrementing id.
  • enum — any values you list (comma-separated), picked at random.

Notes

  • Fields marked unique are de-duplicated automatically (values that collide are re-generated).
  • The id type is great as a primary key for relational test data.
  • SQL export writes standard INSERT statements compatible with MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQLite / SQL Server (single-quote escaping is handled).

Tip: cap the row count for very large exports; generation is streamed in batches to keep the browser responsive.
