DNS Lookup (DoH)
Resolve DNS records directly in your browser using DNS over HTTPS (Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 / Google 8.8.8.8). Supports A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SOA and PTR (reverse) lookups, with TTL and record details shown for every answer.
Enter a hostname and click Lookup.
How to use the DNS Lookup tool
Query DNS records from your browser using DNS over HTTPS (DoH) — no DNS client or server needed. Requests go to Cloudflare or Google over HTTPS, so lookups work on any network and stay transport-encrypted.
Steps
- Enter a hostname (e.g. example.com) or, for a PTR reverse lookup, an IPv4/IPv6 address (e.g. 8.8.8.8).
- Pick the record type — A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SOA, or PTR.
- Choose a resolver (Cloudflare or Google) and click Lookup.
Each answer shows its value and TTL (seconds). Common uses: verifying a website's IP, checking mail servers via MX, auditing TXT/SPF records, and troubleshooting reverse DNS with PTR.
Because DoH runs over HTTPS, your DNS queries are not visible as plaintext on the network.
