How to use the RegEx Tester
Write a regular expression and a test string, then see every match highlighted live with the chosen flags.
Steps
- Pattern — enter a pattern, e.g. /\d+/g or just \d+.
- Flags — add flags such as g (global), i (case-insensitive) or m (multiline).
- Test string — paste the text to search.
- Click Test to highlight matches and see the match count. Invalid patterns show an inline error.
This is ideal for debugging patterns before you deploy them into code.
