How to use the Text Diff
Compare two versions of a text and see exactly what changed, with additions and deletions highlighted line by line.
Steps
- Paste the original text and the modified text.
- Click Compare. Lines that changed are shown with a − (removed) or + (added) marker and a tinted background.
- Use Clear to reset.
The diff uses a longest-common-subsequence algorithm, ideal for spotting edits in code or documents.
